    Places you've visited so far

    Which places have you visited so far? Which trip did you like the most?

    I didn't visit many places so far. So here is my list

    USA = New York; Philadelphia; Camden (sp?); Baltimore; Ocean City; Amish county in Pennsylvania; Hearshey (of the chocolate); Seattle
    Canada = Vancouver
    Spain = Barcelona; Malaga; Sevilla; Granada; Cordoba; San Sebastian; Bilbao; Burgos; Palma de Mallorca; Tenerife
    Greece = Athens; Delphi; Corinth; Mycaene; Eretria
    Germany = Frankfurt
    Austria = Salzburg; Innsbruck
    Switzerland
    Croatia = Zagreb (the city where next year Euros will take place); Rijeka
    Slovenia = Ljubljana (last year Junior Worlds)

    Italy = that's my country. I didn't visit all, but I was in Rome; Venice; Neaples; Pompei (ruins of the vulcan eruption); Florence; Siena; Perugia; Catania; Agrigento; Verona (Romeo and Juliet ); Padua; Ferrara; Modena; Brescia; Trento and many smaller towns

    Of America I liked very much New York, the green around Seattle and Vancouver.
    Of Europe the ancient ruins of Greece and the sea are really worth a look. Venice has that magic look. In Italy the smaller towns are more enjoyable than say Rome and Neaples, but are obviously less known.

    I have not been to many places.
    Bermuda is the most exotic and furthest I've been from home. It is beautiful there. I'd like to go again and have more time to spend there.
    I've been to the Kissimmee area of Florida several times and it is my favorite place so far.
    I've been to Arizona, but to visit family so did not do much except tube down the Salt River which was fun. Thankfully the river was running slow because I'm not the bravest in the water!
    I was to New Hampshire for snowmobiling.
    Pennsylvania is right across the Delaware River from me, and I've gone there for The Philadelphia Zoo and to visit Hershey Park and the Lancaster area.
    And I was to both the American side and the Canadian side of Niagra Falls, but I was pretty young. What I mostly remember from that trip was being scared to death to go on the Maid of the Mist boat ride...and I didn't, thank goodness!

    ==I've been on 3 = Carnival Cruises = went to =St. Thomas
    St Maarten = awesome time on all of them
    Puerto Rico = each island was beautiful

    ==Las Vegas 4 times stayed at the Flamingo right in the middle of the Strip =went in Oct so weather was fine=never got the hot days like they are having now we saw Sigfried & Roy and many more shows (funny thing is I have never been to Foxwoods Casino or Moheghan Sun and they are only say 2 hrs from where I live)

    == New York numerous times
    == New Hampshire = White Mountains -this State is my next door neighbor so I'm always going to different places there.
    == I would go back to Vegas in a heart beat and go on more cruises too

    Well living in Alaska I have yet to see the Panhandle (Juneau/Sitka), most of the Interior, the Arctic Circle, the Western side... or the Aluetians. I don't expect to see much more than I have though lol

    I've driven through Canada... Edmonton, other parts of that area... I can't remember every place. :lol: it was a ll a blur. If I wanted to list them all I'd have to find the notebook we wrote in on the trip.

    I've been to Deer Lodge, Montana. Spokane, WA & Seattle, WA

    Portland, OR has become like a second home considering my best friend lives there...

    I've driven from top to almost bottom of Cali stopping in Chico, Grass Valley, San Fran, San Diego, L.A. and Anaheim.

    Been to Miami, Orlando, Tampa, and the Keys in Florida

    The Bahamas

    The Chicago Airport :lol:

    St. Louis, MO...

    yeah I'm getting there lol

    You know Toni, if I have the opportunity to return in the USA (I doubt it will be soon, because I visited this country three times in 8 years), I would probably choose Alaska. What I don't like is the long trip in the airplane and the jet leg.

    I've update the list with major cities Though with Italy, I agree that sometimes some of the bigger impressions are left by some small places you visit off the road. Of all the countries I've visited, Italy is probably my favorite (leaving aside the countries I've lived at and Israel); I've been there 4 times so far.

    Oh, and if you like reading about exciting travels, check out my friends' blog at HopStopTravel.com!

    Very interesting list! You travel a lot.
    Israel, Russia, Germany and France are the places that interest me much!
    About small places in Italy, they are really worth a look! It's a pity they aren't known that much. A suggestion, if you have a chance to return in Italy visit Alberobello in Apulia, Lucca in Tuscany and the villages in Liguria from Sanremo to La Spezia! And Matera (very particular) and Urbino.

    Oh, great blog!!! Thanks Ptichka!!

    I hear ya on that! that is one of my main issues with travelling just about anywhere! :lol: I hate flying period because my stomach gets all screwed up, always has, but it's what I have to do, right?

    One cool thing about travelling to Alaska, we're almost dead last on the timezones, so you'd gain a full day if you flew back over here... you'd be travelling back in time!

    If you ever do get to come this way (and this goes to any and all) and need some ideas of what you can do and see never hesitate to ask! I may not know everything about every place, but I can give you some out of the way stuff you might like to investigate!

    There's many places I'd love to visit like Alaska and Hawaii, these are the places I've been mostly on family vacations growing up. The rest are from skating trips.
