thanks, bibi. That is a very pretty dress. I don't know if it the camera angles or what, but in both this videa and another one of Yu Na Kim, it looks as if both Mao and Yu Na are taller --- I wonder if they have grown or if it is just the angle.

thanks leode!
On July 22nd, 2007, Japan team was attending the show "Japan on Ice" at Forum Sports center in Courmayeur, Italy. They performed their new programs, Daisuke, Nobunari Oda and Asada Mao as her new SP program. And they received with applause at warm atmosphere from audience in Italy.
Wow! That is her new short program!! That's cool! Does that mean that she'll have another exhibition??

I'm not sure if this is her new SP... Firstly, the commentators say that it is her EX number for this season. Secondly, the crossfoot spin (in the same position in which she does her twizzle at the end of her footwork sequence in Nocturnce), while looks great, would take up one slot for a spin and would be graded level 1.

The program looks great, though.

Not sure if this link was posted already:

Hi, bibi, z4mboni.
Sorry, according to broadcast news, Mao Asada performed her new exhibition program "Étude Op.10-3 " by Chopin at this show.

Is there anyone who went to see this show?

http://www.artonice.it/?q=it/node/3917 (they promised an English translation of the article in a few days and a photogallery)

Maurizio Margaglio introduced all the skaters. Unfortunately there were no Miki Ando (injury) and no Yukari Nakano (university). A lot of japanese journalists followed the skaters and Mao was interviewed a few times. The public was warm and enjoyed the show. The japanese showed a lot of versatility in styles. Certainly they have a lot of talents.

Japan on Ice is going to be repeated also next year in the same location.

The ones who attended the show said that Nobu was great in his Nuovo Cinema Paradiso program. But the best of the bunch was Daisuke. He really stole the show skating to Bjork music.

Wow!

"Pagina seguente" means next page!

www.artonice.it is working on the english version of the site! That part is still under construction, but there are some interesting news! For example the award that Albena Denkova received for fair play.
