Any Winnipegers out there?

I just moved to Winnipeg from Toronto, and I was curious to know how many Winnipegers post here. I'm certainly enjoying the friendliness of the city, and the cheaper cost of living.

Sorry I am not a Winnipeger - I live in New Westminster BC, but I do love Burton Cummings and the Guess Who (all Winnipeg sons) - one of Canada's greatest rock groups of all time. Still dig their tunes. I hope you enjoy life in Winnipeg.

I’m from Winnipeg. Welcome! Nice to hear that you’re enjoying the city so far. Summer is a lot of fun here (no, it’s not normally this hot, LOL) with something going on almost every week. If you get a chance, check out the Fringe Festival or Ballet in the Park this week, or take in Folklorama in August. All great events.

It's well into the 30s Celsius, which I believe is somewhere in the 90s F.

Thanks for the tips. There are certainly a lot of local festivals going on. The arts community here is great.
