“An Evening for Iveta,” a benefit for figure skating coach Iveta Ice, will take place in Marlborough, Massachusetts on September 7. Ms. Ice was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia in March, 2007. Ticket sales will benefit the Iveta Ice Fund, to assist with medical and family expenses.
Confirmed participants include Belbin & Agosto, Johnny Weir, Castile & Okolski, Gregory & Petukhov, Vlassov & Meekins, Stephen Carriere, Davis & White, Juliana Cannarozzo, the Kerrs, the Zaretskys, Curran Oi, Tobias & Japaridze and Suzanne McDonald, as well as local skaters and students of Ms. Ice.
The show will be at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 7, 2007, at the New England Sports Center, 121 Donald Lynch Boulevard in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Tickets are $35.00 for adults, $20.00 for children 5 and under, and are available at the New England Sports Center Figure Skating office, and by calling (508) 229-2700, extension 212 or emailing [email protected].
