You can't find out until the draw. Check icenetwork to see when they skate and the skate order will also be posted there.

Rohene Ward is competing in the Upper Great Lakes Regional this week in Iowa -- here's an article about him published in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune today: http://www.startribune.com/10073/story/1472440.html

Congrats to the ones who made it to sectionals. However, it's sad to see some skaters who were once so promising finishing their season out so early. Erica Archambault used to be one of the girls that people mentioned as up-and-coming. Inga Rodionova, who finished last in the southwest regionals was once an Olympic and World pairs competitor (finishing 12th each time).

If four or fewer senior men register for one of the 9 Regionals, then they can elect to compete there or not. There was no senior men's event at any of the 3 Regionals last week because some had byes and the rest took the pass to Sectionals in November. At Upper Great Lakes in Cedar Rapids, Iowa this coming week, Rohene Ward is one of two senior men registered and he has elected to compete. I've also heard that Braden Overett has elected to compete at the Southwestern Regional taking place near Dallas, Texas next week.

There are more than 4 senior men registered for the South Atlantic Regional in York, PA, so they all have to compete even though all will advance to Eastern Sectionals due to the "fill-up" rule (there are less than 4 in both the New England and North Atlantic Regionals). I believe the 6 are Shaun Rogers (recently won the silver at Nebelhorn Trophy), Tommy Steenberg (6th in the Lake Placid JGP), Traighe Rouse (former JGP competitor and medalist), Michael Solonoski (current Collegiate National bronze medalist), Robbie Crowley, and Viktor Pfeifer (formerly competed for Austria). Derrick Delmore (being the defending Eastern Sectional champ) and Parker Pennington (competing in Finland this week) have received byes through South Atlantics and will be at Easterns.

McCraw competed at Liberty back in July. I believe McCraw and Overett are the two senior men registered for the Southwestern Regional, but I haven't heard if McCraw plans to compete in Dallas.

She competed in Intermediates at NE Regionals last year and didn't make it out of qualifying. Maybe she is no longer interested in competing.

To be honest, to be 14 (last year) and competing so-so at the intermediate level probably don't bode well for a future competitive career. Just because your parents were olympic gold medalists in skating doesn't mean you have to be, too. Besides, it's too much to live up to. She's probably better off devoting her time and energy to something else (wasn't she doing rhythmic gymnastics pretty seriously at some point?) or maybe just being a normal teenager.

Sylvia - and thanks for the article on Rohene. I really want to see him St. Paul so hopefully he does his best in the Sectional.
