Custom User Titles

Q: What is a Custom User Title? How do I get one?

A: A Custom User Title is the text line beneath your username in a post. Titles are based upon the number of posts you have made in the Golden Skate Forum.

Once you have accumulated over 100 posts in the GS Forum, you can enter your own title.

Settings > Edit Profile > Custom User Title

Below is a list of the automatic titles users receive based on number of posts.

Number of Posts Title
1-24 Posts Rinkside
25-49 Posts On the Ice
50-74 Posts Tripping on the Podium
75-100 Posts Medalist
100+ Posts Custom Title (Until user changes it)

My custom user title does not work. I had one, then I decided to change it. So, I went to User CP, re typed my new title clicked the reset button and scrolled down to save changes. Nothing happened. I have tried this a few times but nothing has helped. Maybe I am just forgetting a step???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try it without hitting the "reset" button.

If that doesn't work, PM me your new custom title and I will put it up for you.

BTW, don't you have the Michelle Kwan quote backward in your signature? it seems like it should be "I skate with my heart, not with my head." (?)

Hi, I've reached over 100 posts. But I do not see a button that says Customer user title under edit profile. Please help.

In User Control Panel, it's under "Your Profile" -> "Edit Your Details" (the first menu item on the left. Then scroll down the page a little. Don't forget to click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page after you enter your new custom user title.

Followed Mathman's instructions. It's not there. If need be, I'll take a screen shot as proof. Really, I'd rather have no title or one of the generic ones than the ungainly "Custom Title".

Edited to add: Oh, it finally appeared. It's a bloody miracle.
