Far out man! The Rolling Stones are giving a benefit concert in Toronto, today, which is being broadcast on the CBC right now! It's to help Toronto out because of the Sars scare - they really lost a lot of tourists. Now if someone could only help us convince Japan that there is NOTHING wrong with our Beef!!!

Thanks Rolling Stones!!!

I was a great day. Three of my four kids were there, and said it was the most amazing day they have ever spent.

Also on the ticket (the concert ran from 12 noon until around 11:30pm)

Dan Ackroyd and Jim Belushi
Sam Roberts
AC/DC
Rush
Sass Jordan
Justin Timberlake
Isley Brothers
The Tea Party
Jann Arden
Blue Rodeo
The Guess Who
And more.........

There were 450 thousand people there!

The Stones played an hour and a half set, and wow, I saw them last time they were in Toronto, and even on TV, (which usually doesn't translate live concerts well) they were noticably more amazing. I guess they were feeding off the energy of the half million people!

Also worth noting: half million people, twelve hour rock concert, unbearable heat and sun, and still only one arrest.

I am glad that such an event was possible and went off with such ease. But I had to work so going was out of the question.:)
