    Lightbulb Avatar and Profile Picture FAQ

    Q: What is an Avatar and how do I get one?
    A: Avatars are the small square graphical images that you see under a poster's username. You must have at least 100+ posts or be a GS Supporter in order to upload a custom avatar.

    Q: What sizes are they?
    A: Both Profile photos and Avatars have a max size of 100x100 pixels and cannot exceed 15KB.

    Q: What are profile pictures?
    A: Profile Pictures are photos members can upload that will display in their public member profile. You must have at least 100+ posts or be a GS Supporter in order to upload a profile picture.

    Q: What are the file and size limits?
    A: Avatars should be 100x100 pixels and no larger than 15KB (.gif or .jpg formats only).

    Q: What are the restrictions on images?
    A: No animations. No religious, political, or pornographic images. Images that promote a product, service, external site, survey, or contain a website link are also not allowed. If you are in doubt, than most likely the image is not suitable for this forum. Those who abuse this privilege will be banned without notice.

    Q: How do I upload a custom avatar?
    A:
    Go to Settings > Edit Avatar > Upload Image From Your Computer > Choose File > then scroll to the bottom right of the page and click on "Save Changes"

    Q: How do I upload a Profile picture?
    A: Go to Settings > Edit Profile Picture > Upload Image From Your Computer> Choose File > then scroll to the bottom right of the page and click on "Save Changes"
