Arthur Gatchinski..... How is he doing?

I read so much about this kid being the next big discovery by Mishi. But I looked at his results from the Junior GP and it they are mixed. He place 2nd in his first competition which is pretty good, but fourth in his next assignment. I hope all the talk about him is not putting too much presure on the young man. What is his skating like? Is all the hype justified? He is an august 93 baby so how soon can he get senior GP assignments?

I know that there are some Gachinsky videos at Youtube (I think I put one of his programs from this year's Russian Nationals there myself).

Is "all the hype" of a 13 or 14 year old ever justified? Rarely? I don't know. He has character on the ice, he seems like a nice kid off the ice, but I could see him getting stuck in the "mini-Plush" mode and never developing his own style, and never living up to expectations. That's the risk of overhyping skaters when they're 12 years old.
