“Multiquote” and back-to-back posts

You guys have cracked me up in this thread! The reason i do it is because i generally log in in the morning and find there has been a lot of activity overnight as all the guys in North America and similar time zones have posted. I read through the threads and find things i want to comment on and just hit "quote" and reply, then find i have something to say about the next one....and on and on!

Now i realise ihave to click the multiquote button when i fnid something i want to relpy to and then just continue reading and clicking if i want to reply!

I don't know if it's just me, but I actually find it often easier to read the posts that made a quote in the way Ant just described, especially when the poster is responding to multiple topics.

My perceived difficulty is steming from the way a single post becomes crowded and confusing with multiple topics.

When the poster wants to respond to different topics, it is often easier for me to follow when the poster makes back-to-back posts with single quotes, rather than making multi-quotes of different topics within the same post.

I totally respect the decisions made by GS admin and moderators; but this is how I sometimes felt about this rule. I am wondering if the rule could be applied at a case-by-case basis with some flexibility.

Or you could say that Caroline's whole flexibilty is based around her desire to be a Sasha Cohen wannabe...if you follow that logically from MM's post then you would actually be an MM wannabe!

This means the same poster posting twice in a row, with no intervening post by another member.

I have always done this by accident than by design. It especially happens if I am tired and it is late at night. What really frustrates me at the moment though is sometimes my replies disappear because I have to keep logging on for each topic. If I don't save what I have typed, it's gone. Am I doing something wrong?

Try checking the Remember Me box at login, Lad.

It should not work the way you describe.
