I forgot the Carol Burnett Show! Tim Conway and Harvy Korman used to "crack me up!" One of the best shows ever!

I loved the Carol Burnet Show, but it's not a sitcom; rather, it's a variety show.

The Wonder Years is probably my all time favorite.
Andy Griffith
Cheers
Wings
Leave it to Beaver
Carol Burnett (even though it's not actually a sitcom.)
All in the Family (before Mike and Gloria left)

That's all I can think of right now.

what early show? They all have ricky and fred and ethel.....

actually there are 3 different versions... after she and Dezi(Ricky) divorced they went their seperate ways... she tried to revive that TV show comedy twice... both times it failed... she had for a while just Lucy and Ethel(though the names changed, I think) but the last time she was a g'ma living with her kids from what I remember of the special... I Love Lucy, the original, was the only really successful show she had :(

The scoop on the Lucy Show:

“Life with Lucy” – 1986
Lucy Barker - grandmother living with her daughter's family. Gale Gordon also appears.

“Here’s Lucy” – 1968 – 1974
Lucy Carter - a widow with two teen children, takes a job as a secretary for her stuffy brother-in-law played by Gale Gordon. Desi and Lucie Arnez and Vivian Vance also appear.

“The Lucille Ball Show” – 1962 – 1968
aka “The Lucy Show”
Lucy Carmichael and her friend Vivian Bagley, played by Vivian Vance (1962-1965), move into a house together with their children. Lucy works as the personal secretary to the impatient and grumpy banker Mr. Mooney, played by Gale Gordon.

“The Lucy – Desi Comedy Hour” – 1957-1960
aka “We Love Lucy”
Lucy and her husband, Ricky Ricardo, are living in the country with their best friends and old landlords, Fred and Ethel Mertz, played by William Frawley and Vivian Vance.

“I Love Lucy” – 1951 – 1957
Original “Lucy Show” with Desi Arnez, William Frawley and Vivian Vance.

All shows follow the same format: Lucy gets into trouble or some predicament through her own fault or some type of outside 'force' and tries to get out of the scrape but usually draws in a couple of other characters and makes the situation worse.

Sounds awfully like the two Annabel movies from 1938 also starring Jack Oakie.

For more Lucille Ball linformation see:

BTW: These shows are definately not among my favorites, I just enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
