I loved it when Brian Boitano, after finishing his triple axel double loop in his Les Patineurs SP, wipes the snow off his blade, throws it over his shoulder as if to say, Top That.

I love the back COE spiral in FOG by Kwan

It's not a little move, but I love Klimkin's camel spins that go in both ways with the triple salchow in there.

I liked Stannick talking to the snake.

I loved the arm kissing tango part of Abitbol and Bernadis's Addams Family, also the finger snapping. It was so in character.

Oh, oh, okay. I was confused (not too surprising seeing as I usually am!). Sorry Joe.

No problem, Lanie. I'm as guilty at times of changing the topic of theads to something else.

Ooh..I like this thread Let's see--I love how Alexei does all that miming (especially at the beginning of MITIM), and how he tosses up that 'Snow" in his "Winter" program. I also love this one move Sasha does where she has one leg bent, and the other leg is stretched out and she goes in that position in a circle...here's a picture: http://www.sashafans.com/media/galle...-salamey-5.jpg
As well as the "Sasha Curl":

    And this move Sasha does:

There's lots more, but none I can think of at the moment....

    Those little skating moves....

Liz Manleys' opening steps and closing steps to her 88 Olympic program.

Toller Cranston - every move he made was a classic. His program Il Pagliaci was thrilling from the start to the finish - including the slide across the ice at the end.

Kurt Browning - his classic little runs and skips he does across the ice and makes it look so easy. I also love the way he can just "pop" a jump in out of nowhere.

I will have to think of more later.

There is a pair's or ice dancing lift that I like, but I don't know quite how to explain it. I'll give it a try:

the girl is standing upright, and the guy lifts her pretty much in that position, from the hips area, and generally spins lightly. The girl remains upright. As if she was very stiff and he was too weak to lift her over his head (that's an image!).

I know which one you mean, Olenska. I like it too, because it flows with the music more than those big trick lifts. that's the way Pairs was skated way back.
