The American lineup here is quite interesting and I believe very podium competitive. I'm sure the Mexicans will put on a good show.

btw, my fav dance team, the Hubbells, I expect them to win gold.

Joe, I expect you're right...I don't see anyone else there that I expect to beat the Hubbells--but that's the exciting thing about Juniors--they can improve so much in a year. And some of the ones you have never seen can surprise you.

Did you notice that striking photo of them on IceNetwork? In that green costume.
I forgot what music they are using, but does green work?

Hubbell's FD costume from Lake Placid
    http://photography.ice-dance.com/200...G_5676.jpg.php

    Their free dance is to:

"Sogniami" (Italian Vocal) (translated it means dream of me) by Alessandro Safina

I gues that's suitably dream like...

Green isn't a total curse though.

Well, this couple had a breakthrough Worlds Championships in an even more green costume!

In fact, that's the greenest set of costumes I ever recall; particularly for the gentleman. Even more green than this:

I'm not familiar with Soigni so I'll take it that green works.

btw, that T&D combo of dance music: the first one sounded to me like a Peabody. is a Peabody recognized as an official skate dance? That would fit in the 20s,30s requirement.

I didn't recognize the 2nd slow number, but the third was a Lindy. All of these dances were performed without peer. Oh, that team was so special.

Check out http://uk.youtube.com/user/KeifferandMadison for videos of The Hubbells . IN have updated their profile pic too, they look cute!

"Sognami (Dream of me)" is performed by Alessandro Safina - the same that performed "Luna" used by Samuelson & Bates: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NRrlAVfLL0s
(BTW, Belbin & Agosto have used Alessandro Safina too but as an EX: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=i1TnzfONLoA)

Since The Hubbells and Samuelson & Bates have the same coachs, I supposed it's not a really a coincidence and that Iaroslava Netchaeva Iouri Tchesnitchenko are big fans of Safina.

According to the Lake Placid report, the lyrics means "love has no barriers to age or religion." You can see photos from LP here @ their Official Website: http://hubbells.ice-dance.com/photog...s.php?album=11

When I listen to the song: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=C6-rrRWejmk I get a "Eastern Feeling" at the beginning if you see what I mean...So I think the Costumes work, especially Keiffer's
