The moral of that story is that ALL the teams have to stay on their feet and not make mistakes. But note the PCS scores:

23.96 Hubbells USA - got 24.41 in MEX
21.85 Antipova/Kudashev RUS - got 20.06 in CZE
21.74 Monko/Khaliavin RUS - got 20.79 in CZE
21.62 Gilles/Donohue USA - got 22.50 in CZE
17.80 Galyeta/Kaplun UKR - got 14.26 in CZE
17.62 Jurchenko/Liubchenko UKR - got 13.50 in FRA
17.45 deBB/Buron (CAN)
16.40 Haslinger/Finke (GER)
13.30 Hurtado/Diaz (ESP)

It's also interesting to compare the Total, TES and PCS scores between this event and the previous event. You'd think that all the teams would have improved since their first event, wouldn't you? Think again.

OD Total, TES, PCS, team, event

53.31, 29.90, 24.41 Hubbells, MEX
53.06, 29.10, 23.96 Hubbells, RSA - all three scores went down

50.99, 28.49, 22.50 Gilles/Donohue, CZE
51.42, 29.80, 21.62 Gilles/Donohue, RSA - TES went up, PCS went down. Why?

41.03, 23.24, 20.79 Monko/Khaliavin, CZE (fall plus illegal lift)
50.54, 28.80, 21.74 Monko/Khaliavin, RSA - TES and PCS went up

48.81, 28.75, 20.06 Antipova/Kudashev, CZE
47.95, 27.10, 21.85 Antipova/Kudashev, RSA - TES down (deduction). Why PCS went up?

It aint over till it's over.

While the Hubbels have nice lead, the next three are all very close. Chukum's post is very valid.

I would like to check out the FDs of the four couples from previous events. Do we have all the youtubes?

You raise some good points. It'll be interesting to see how and if this continues in the FD.
Good job Hubbells and Gilles/Donahue. Glad to see the latter pulling up.
Hope to see some youtubes of this event soon.
