Same cast for all these shows.![]()

There are a few same skaters, so what? Only the NJ (Trenton) and CT (Danbury charity gala) events are in same part of USA, and the cast is not the same in them (only a couple exceptions).Originally posted by Joesitz

Here is a list of all of the Disson upcoming events:
Any reports on this show yet, or is it still too early tonight?! Darn this East Coast thing......LOL![]()
There's an interesting subject for a thread...What Burt Bacharach songs would you like to see these performers skate to? I'd like to see Bobek in a catsuit shimmying to "What's New Pussycat?" Perhaps Orser can put on a cowboy hat and try "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance." Meno & Sand could put on some mod psychedelic duds and do a routine to "Casino Royale," while Kadavy could do one of her slow sensuous routines to "Anyone Who Had A Heart." Yuka Sato and "Make It Easy On Yourself" would also be a good pairing...When she performs with her husband, perhaps "One Less Bell To Answer." Any ideas?
The show is over and I expect some reviews to come soon....
It was posted earlier here

that Ilia Kulik will be skating to "A House Is Not A Home" (Ingram will be singing) and he is also doing the opening group number, the closing group number and a medley number with Caryn Kadavy and Yuka &Jason.
Boitano will skate to "Alfie" (I don´t remember whether his other programme has been mentioned).

Thanks for the alert, Jaana, and for the list, Paula. I love most of these skaters and am especially glad they will be aired on TV--barring golf, of course
But bummer that the one closest to me, the Kristi show in Philly, doesn't feature Ilia Kulik. Guess my Ilia fix this year will have to be limited to TV. Sigh.
Love your ideas for song/skater pairings, Idle. I think Nicole Bobek should skate to "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?" except they should change the lyrics to the following:
"Do you know what coach I should stay with?/ I've never stayed with one for very long/
The one I loved dropped dead on me at Worlds/
My skating was going great, then he was gone/
Skating is a great big slick rink/
Place at Worlds and you can buy boutiques/
For a week maybe two they'll think you're a star/
Weeks turn into years, your skating blows/
And all the champs who never were are skating in a Disney show/
Boom Boom Boom
Do you know what coach I should stay with?/
I change mine faster than my underwear/
Things go well with each for just a while/
Then I just get the itch to get the hell out of there/
People like to say I'm flaky/
Maybe so but I've been having fun/
For a week maybe two I'll think I'm in love/
Weeks turn into years, now I'm engaged/
And champ or not I love the ice and they still pay to watch me skate/
Boom Boom Boom
I don't care what coach I might stay with/
I'm just the kind of girl who can't decide/
My life is good and I know when I skate/
It's still a great and super wonder ride!/
Skating for me is still a great and super slippery wonder ride!"

I just checked Heather's TV schedule. This show will air on December 20th. Something to look forward to this Christmas.
Here are lots of info about the show and off-ice as well:

Tina's review has a few flaws...Among them, the fact that she identified the name of one song as "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do." I assume she means "Make It Easy On Yourself" which has those lyrics in the refrain. (There's no reason for doing a Neil Sedaka song at a Burt Bacharach show).
Great photos by Tina http://www.kurtfiles.com/pics/tyan/bacharach03.php
Enjoyed them all very much, but of course these from Ilia´s new programme "A House Is Not A Home" especially, LOL: http://www.kurtfiles.com/pics/tyan/b...03_4.php#house
Tina also has revised her review

about the skating and added links to many lyrics.
