Thanks for all the review and photo links, Jaana. Especially liked the ones of Ilia from "A House is Not a Home" (surprise).

What a man. What a man. What a mighty good man.

    Looking forward to the broadcast!

You might also enjoy Laurie's beautiful photos of the performance at http://www.kuliks-krew.com/ click on "more photos" under the center photo of Ilia from the show.

Thanks, Brandenburg. Those photos are the best I've seen from the Bacharach show so far, not that I haven't enjoyed the others as well.

    Hubba. Hubbar. Hubbay.
That's English for: Hot! Hot! Hot!

And last time I saw Ilia skate, he was still top master of the ice, at least in my book. And doesn't he look like he's just plain happy on the ice. Reviews were good for him, too. Good for Ilia!

    The Master

In total agreement, and in San Jose he was the master at full power - wow!

    Bacharach Tribute On Ice photos

Laurie has again taken great photos (Ilia-centric; Bobek and Kadavy appear on couple of them) from the Bacharach event (on ice and off-ice) which are now to be viewed on her own website at

    http://koti.welho.com/mjylha2/index06h.html

On the Krewsite is a collection of her photos taken at Bacharach show as well, and later there will be also photos added from other photographers:

    Idle,

1- I know it's difficult, but please "let go" of the boobie thing, ok?

2- Do not post photos without the photographer's permission. It is indeed a copyright violation.

Idleracer, have you got the photographer´s (= Laurie´s ) permission to post that photo here? If not, could you edit it away from your message, please? I believe the copyright rules apply on this forum also. Thanks!

I should announce that every photograph I import is also a link to where it came from, that you can click on. The way I see it, it's a fair deal...I get to use the photo in exchange for inadverdently drumming up some traffic for whatever website I get it from.

It is a copyrighted photo, and only with the permission of the photographer is one allowed to post copyrighted photos on forums. There is no special permission for copyrighted photos to be used as links. It still is a copyrighted photo!

Two new photos, "Ilia in the air", have been added on Laurie´s website at

    http://koti.welho.com/mjylha2/index06h.html

LOL, I know that the first one is called Russian splits, but what is the other one?

Ilia looks smashing (and he's not even my type). And the photos themselves are really great. Thanks so much for the link.

As for the move, it's a death drop-screwdriver...

Edited to add: in the photo where he does a Russian split, there's a woman (right, um... between his legs) with her jaw dropped...

    Thanks for the info, Windspirit!

What makes these skating photos by Laurie even more amazing, is the fact that in his programmes Ilia was moving/turning with great speed the whole time. Not easy for a photographer, LOL!

Add my jaw dropped to the woman in the photo (I saw that too, Windspiirit, ROFL). The two "Air Ilia" photos are amazing--and he IS my type, lol. I especially love the angle on the flying death drop. It makes it look as if Ilia has no connection to the earth and really is flying. I think Laurie is really gifted as a photographer, especially with skating, which is so HARD to do. Thanks for telling us about the two new photos, Jaana. They are definitely worth looking at--and looking at, and looking at, and looking at...
