Ponsero just needs this success right now, he is on, perhaps not on a very good way, but on a much better way than during the past seasons. One big win, once the French anthem for him at a major ISU-event (read: not Coupe de Nice). I think he needs that in order to really find his competitive edge.
I would love to see Ponsero win NHK-so much potential in his skating! He had a spectacular SP at SC and I definitely think he could have won had he not had a less than steller LP. In fact, dare I even go so far as to say he is my favorite French skater? I think he just might be, and it didn't even take that long.

Yannick is by far my favourite amongst the French guys. The first performance I ever saw of him was his 2007 Worlds SP, and I've been hooked ever since. He definitely would've won SC if he hadn't crumbled under the pressure. I did get to see his free skate live in Ottawa, and it was heartbreaking that he wasn't able to repeat the brilliance he demonstrated in his SP (even though I had expected it---my intuition "knew" that Yannick would have a poor performance).

Preaubert instead of Chan or Verner, and it would've been my dream final Congrats everyone who made it to the final!
