Some think saying "good luck!" brings bad luck, so I am restraining myself as best I can. I very much appreciate the skating of Patrick Chan, but my heart is with Brian Joubert. I only hope that the weirdness with painting of the ice does not affect jump landings. Perhaps all the scraping that has been done will be sufficient, but the article on icenetwork indicates that where the paint was put, the ice beneath it was not properly frozen. That thought gives me considerable anxiety for the single skaters in particular, because they have to jump so much.

thanks I wasnt sure how to link........ it looks like so far they are skating close too if not more than their personal bests, may the trend continue and the best skate of the day win
