This is the second time this season Ashley has finished below Lepisto in the long program with no falls. Ouch.

can you be more specific?
I think these guys want to watch and don't have time to be very specific... We have to be patient. Hate patience, hate it very much... :scowl:

Hmm, the scores. Not Asada's personal best, but alright! I want to see that program right now.

She tried two 3A, 3A and 3A + 2A.
To my regret, the second 3A was dg.
I think that is the correct interpretation.
She actually looked little bit disappointed with that score...who knows how high it might have been had she got credit for both...and didn't have silly error at the end.

And THAT is why you should never write off a skater after one subpar competition!
All you doubters! Mao ain't going anywhere!! She did it! Two 3A's in one program!

Even if the second 3A was dg, she still has one under her belt, which is more than any other female skater in the current season.

And Silver for Suzuki - how is that for comeback?!? Did Nakano lose her spot in the GPF? It was actually my podium, just that in my version Suzuki won, Nakano was second and Asada third.

I know it would of been close to 200.

No, Nakano made the GPF along with Ando. Suguri didn't make it.

Protocols up. Interesting, a few years everyone complained that Asada didn't have any jumps but Flutz, Flip, Loop and Axel. Today she didn't do Flutz, didn't do the Loop - but landed a solo Triple Toe and a solo Triple Salchow. Both with positive GOE. I hope the Triple Loop makes a comeback though, it's her most aesthetic jump.

Ahhhh - why did nobody tell us that Lepistö brought a Triple Lutz on ice and only got -0.2 GOE????? Party!!!! You go girl!

Nagasu didn't got credited with one Triple - it looks like Mira Leung's protocol from a few weeks ago. Two downgrades for Wagner, especially painful because it hit the jumps were she tacked on the combos.
