Gilles/Donohue (USA) have withdrawn from the Dance competition. They are replaced by the first alternates, Antipova/Kudashev (RUS).

Michal Brezina has withdrawn from the Junior Men's competition. I know he's been injured for a while now, can't remember where his injury is though. The replacement is Artur Gachinski (RUS).

Finally, the first alternates in pairs Sheremetieva/Kuznetsov (RUS) have also pulled out. She was injured at Nebelhorn and they missed their second scheduled JGP, Sheffield. Lawrence/Sweigers (CAN) are now the first alternates.

Very disappointing for Brezina & Gilles/Donohue, but a good opportunity for the alternates.

HORRORS !!! I hope Brezina makes it to Euros.

Michal will miss Czech nationals this week but it's actually no problem because the team for Euros was announced by the Czech federation a long time ago. Michal got a spot based on his JGP peformances. If he gets healthy soon enough to resume training for Euros, he will be there ...

Czech nationals are this week? Just before the GPF? Will Tomas be there?
Hope Michal recovers for Euros!

Yes, Czech nationals take place on Dec 4-6th. Tomas is listed in the official entries released on Nov 25 but as he qualified for GPF this weekend, he will most likely withdraw from Nationals to focus on GPF. There has been no official announcement yet though, so we will have to wait and see.
