Whatever you think of her politics, (and let's please not go there), Sarah Palin has this knack for giving her children rather interesting names. This inspired someone to come up with this: http://politsk.blogspot.com/2008/09/sarah_13.html . If Sasha Cohen had been Sarah's child, her name would be Stinger Assassin Palin, and Michelle Kwan would be Drown Wing Palin. I would be Spine Breeder Palin!

Welcome to Alaska...

granted she's the most public figure we have out there that gives her kids "interesting" names... but it's not uncommon up here...

Martin Buser, and Susan Butcher both named their kids after check points on the Iditarod trail - for example
