Among the nominees just announced for the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame are Karen Magnuson, Brian Orser, and Underhill and Martini.

Also nominated (posthumously) was Nikolai Panin, who won the Olympic Gold Medal in “Special Figures” in 1908 (the only Olympics where special figures was a separate event). He also competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in pistol shooting.
