tango-ish music

3s-2t-2l
3f fall
nice combo spin
3t funny landing (2foot?)
3s-2t ok
3L fall (ur?)... shame, entry was nice
3t-2t
2a stepout
pretty good spins

pretty good musicailty and presentation, sharp, some good qualities here
jumps tended to lack flow on landings

77.33 -- 122.00 1st place

The Mission (ugh...)

3s - had it, then slipped
3t-2t
2a-2t
2a-2t good
3t good
commentator notes she's gaining confidence/speed as she goes
spin well centred
2a good
2lz from ina bauer
good sit-spin positions, given she seems tall (?)

you have to be a really special skater to make me enjoy "the mission"
this didn't do it, though she was nice enough

83.37 -- 128.80 1st

she and coach are pleased

Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake

3lz very nice
3t good
3s
3s-2t
good layback, though slowed a bit
2lp
2a-2t
2f-2t-1t
fw simple but now musicality is finally showing - nice
spiral ok
combo spin slow-ish
but she's thrilled, so is audience

she's elegant, but for the most part did little with the music here, apart the sl footwork
undoubtedly quite concentrated for opening half
if she gains confidence and learns to skate with command, could be good

86.38 -- 132.48 1st place

I'd say Dana Zhalko-Tytarenko was my favourite to watch so far

Mira skated poorly for her, the last minute was so slow like a snail...she can say good bye to the 4cc in her city...

It takes a while for the marks to come up. I think the Canadian judges are really scrutinizing all her jumps.

3lz-2lp looked fine
3f i think ok
2a-2t fine, no flow though
combo spin ok
2s (didn't see it)
3f fall (ur?)
3lz wild
spin ok
pearl position in closing layback

this program does not do much for her
seemed concentrated, spins had a little less flair than they sometimes can for her
she is contining to improve in small ways, but the basic flow is clearly what is needed, especially in this type of program

89.67 -- 130.43 2nd place

looks unhappy in k&c

And Mira is into 2nd place behind Kang.

I have a feeling that Kang has just bought her ticket to junior worlds. 2 good competitions in a row for her now; something she has not had in over 3 years.

Gosh, Mira is in 2nd. I've never been a fan of her skating, but I do feel for her as a person and I've always found her fascinating. I feel sympathy for her situation. If only she would work on improving her poor posture, lack of conviction in her performance execution, and those under-rotated jumps. Poor girl. She can either learn from this, work hard, and rise above or continue to fall down the ranks. I'd like to see her make a comeback!

Adrianne's program is very inconsistent. Her skating in final group speaks a volume about the shallowness of Canadian ladies field. Another flip-less, lutz-less lady in the field.

She is from Philadelphia (sp?)
