Claire Tannett / Wendell McGrath AB/NT/NU (Alberta, Northwest Territory and Nunuvut)

Music - music

- innovative curve lift
- very acrobatic combo lift
- circular step sequence, girl stumbled
- twizzle unison off
- steps are quite simple. they are a developing team

They were 14th last year and 5th at challenges. Beautiful and easy to watch. Could use some speed and shake off some hesitation.

The Mission (ugh.....)

various shades of blue

soft and flowing skating style

circular steps look relatively simple
twizzles off unison
*missed a lot of the second half with feed issues*
lifts nice

pleasant enought to watch, but lord does that (overused) music bore me...

54.61 -- 107.48

joking in K&C that they're the champs, for the next 4 minutes... cute.

Ramful/Goodman

missed the music title, but seems perhaps Irish... starts of with jig, slower waltz in middle

red, gold and white costumes, him black pants

not the flow of the last team, but i think more difficulty
not really skating up to the level of the faster music, though

59.96 -- 117.67 1st place... mock disappointment at missing 60pts

Wilson/Connolly (team #3 withdrew)

blues: "Since I've Been Loving You" - Led Zeppelin
they're decent on rotational lifts, though she struggled to get the position in one.
have good feel for the rhythm, however are not working the connection between one another
lifts good, one with him spread eagle
well expressed musically/rhythmically; speed and expressing connection to each other are perhaps things to work on

62.33 -- 127.44 1st place

seem pleased, coach congratulating them

I find their choreo/program (chreographer Jean-Pierre Boisboire) quite unique, good attack throughout, good speed, most improved team so far. Loved the program.

I didn't. You need a WMP or something alike to view the stream.

Flesher/Forsythe

tango selections
black and blue costumes, flowing fabric

twizzles nice
opening with more flow and command than teams so far
crowd has appreciated the opening (to slow tango music)
music building
consistent speed/flow
they hit good positions
but that spin slowed down a lot
program builds up to the end

well done, most balanced performance so far, a level above the others

he leaves the ice saying it was "fun"
commentator impressed by all the lifts, good attack she says
