I can certainly understand them, but I wonder about Jenni Vahamaa. She hasn't had too many opportunities to skate this season, so why isn't she going? Is she still injured?

alekzu thinks it's a pact Nordics apparently was supposed to be the Finnish ladies qualification test for Worlds.

A pact among which parties? Finnish Fed with neighboring feds? Does that mean Jenni withdrew because Finnish Fed forced her to withdraw, or it's because there is no longer any point in her taking a risk by participating this comp without full recovery from injury and enough preparation if it doesn't count anyway for her chance to worlds?

Is Jenni still young enough for juniors? If so, is she perhaps going to Jr. Worlds and this is too close, especially with injuries to recover from?

IIRC, Jenni was 15 when she skated at Europeans last year, so she should be young enough to go to Junior Worlds this year. I've no idea if that's the plan, of course.

Jenni is still injured and haven't done any practices yet. She was, however, walking without crutches, when I saw her among the audience and the stuff at Europeans. She was interviewed by the Finnish TV and she said she hopes to go at last to one international competition this spring - but not very soon, because she has to be careful with her ankle, and of course, to begin to train again. She looked very sweet and collected.

Adrian had to withdraw after breaking his skate at practice.
From Absolute Skating

He had pulled a muscle and was slightly injured.

“My boot came apart during practice last night”, he explained. “I was wondering why it was so hard to do the flip and Lutz; now I know. I'll be fine in a few days, but I have to buy new boots and break them in. I don't know how long that will take, but I've cancelled my participation in the Challenge Cup, I need to concentrate on getting ready for Worlds”.

Thanks for posting the results Eevun!
Interesting to see three Islandic skaters in the ranking. Their placements are not good, and I don't see any Icelandic skaters in the other disciplines. I wonder if that is any indication of the state of skating environment in the country.
