    Warm-Up Group 6
Charlene GUIGNARD / Guillaume PAULMIER FRA
he in black long sleeved sequinned t shirt and pants. She in a black rip away dress, showing a silver spangly bra.

    24.56 into 5th

Maia SHIBUTANI / Alex SHIBUTANI USA

Boy are they small compared to the others.
Alex in a white shirt with the closure edged in black.
Maia in black lace over white, a very fierce little Spanish lady.

    Good timing, speed and unison

    29.71 into 1st.

Dora TUROCZI / Balazs MAJOR HUN

Black fish net tear away dress, red trim. He in white shirt, black bolero vest, red cummerbund, black pants, with a black string tie.

Leg unison not there. Not great.

    22.23 into 14th

Terra FINDLAY / Benoit RICHAUD FRA
She's in a very flashy gold flamenco outfit with huge dress ruffles. All gold. She's blond, so is he. He has a black suit with odd v shaped trims front and back, and sort of gold holsters on the side of his butt. It's quite a good dance. They don't skate as close to each other as the Shibutanis, but good.

    26.82 into 4th

I'll have to watch the rest of this later. Ice is being resurfaced.

I liked both French teams - didn't luv them but they show competitive potential. Look forward to their OD

One Canadian Team looked good also.

The Shibutani's were fine, but I think they must do better for the OD. Their lead is not unbeatable.

That's a huge PB for Chock/Zuerlein if I'm not mistaken... Have they ever scored that high in a CD?

Chock/Zuerlein previous best was 31.23(according isu website) and it seems only Hubells have scored more that score among this field(34.72)

Can anyone tell me what happened to Riazanova and Guerreiro, did they make any big mistake?

and The Hubbells land in 2nd.

Doris, tell me, what do you call that step where the couples are facing each other but their bodies are side by side in opposite directions, and they have both skates on the ice, then slide one in front of the other, and in some cases, slide again? The Hubbells really pronounced that step as did Antipova/Kudashev. It is so in line with the Paso Doble.

I ike that movement. Is it in other dances?

Shibutanis are 3rd in TES, but 5th overall.
Well, maybe they'll score better in OD.

Wow, there are a couple of surprises:

    C&Z are clearly the favourites
    R&G in 7th ???
F&R and G&P (the two french teams) are quite close

Joe, I think you are talking about "the scissors". I think it's a move particular to the paso.

If IN gets this up on archive, I'll finish up the PBP. It isn't up yet.

I haven't seen it yet, but I heard they messed up their timing on one of the iterations.

R and G were very good but Pushcash/Kisselev were somewhat more special. Better in character of that never ending Espana Cani.

If this is a prelude to the gold, I'd watch that Russian team of P/K.

Looks like Maia and Alex are underscored here...
