Actually, Caroline proved that we don't technically need any to implode to get a bronze. We just need one of ours to skate a perfect SP+LP. And oh, the US field IS deep. It just doesn't have a towering peak like it used to...

Yes, we do. Asada, Kim, Rochette all made some mistakes and that's why Zhang had the TES score. But the fact is that Kim/Asada/Rochette together have all of the top 10 scores this season, with Nakano coming in 11th. That's the gap between those three and the rest of the field. IF Kostner does what she's capable of she's the only one capable of spoiling that party. Unless the other implode even more.
