I quite enjoyed Aronow & Pirgonov of LTU. They did a 40's dance to In the Mood (jitterbug) with a schmaltzy Lawrence Welk type rest bit (waltzy) in the middle. Good 40's feel and a cut pairs spin with her lying flat facing up. Twizzles drifted terribly.

    Score 30.92, total 52.72, 7th.

Dieck & Zenkner Germany to the slowest Charleston I ever saw (in French). (They do lots of Charleston hands and foot movements. She had on a very wide vertical stripe black and white skirt (like 50's cheerleader). The dress was not noticeably 1920's. He had a black shirt grey vest. Total 60.13 in 2nd SB

    They qualify for the FD.

Actually, the dance was Le Lambeth Walk by Dalida, so I assume it's the Lambeth Walk. Which was a dance of 1937 or so.

They're playing Wyclef Jean during the warmup

He's in the Army, she's in the Wac's, but it's an alternate universe where WAC's have no sleeves, a wide red belt and a red net crinoline hanging out under a short skirt. They're peppy, but the unison is not great. Noticeably faster skaters than the last group.

    Choreographer: Margarita Drobiazko, Povilas Vanagas

He's in the underpinnings of a black tie and tails outfit, she has a dark blue costume with kind of random sparklies. This was a great dance from them, twizzles in unison and one time to the music. The blues part was particularly special and bluesy. Then they break into tap dancing and off to the s/l step.

    Very special

They have a lot of personality on the ice. The pair spin was maybe level 1 if lucky, but all the blues part was quite good. Significant out of unison on the twizzle sequence. The lift was like the handstand one the Kerr's use. She's in a pink number with eyes sketched on her boobs. He has pinstriped pants.

She has an odd little green hat, fringes on a black chemise top (makes her looky chunky) and a green and black skirt of ribbons with purple elbow high gloves. He has either gray or pinstripe pants with a purple shirt and stripe suspenders and striped tie. They seemed unable to keep up with this music and skated through it.

Sing, Sing, Sing (a tortured version)
She's in a turquoise fringed dress with no back and turquoise gloves.
He has large plaid pants and a white vest, a black shirt and a turquoise tie
They got out of sync on a twizzle in the footwork. They are much more capable to this swing music than the last couple.

Loved that Greek team. They captured the music of The Boy Friend, quite well. The 20s were as special as the 40s for young adults to dance.

Slow Foxt: C'est Si Bon performed by Louis Armstrong
Swing: Sing, Sing, Sing by Louis Prima

He has on a white shirt, a patchwork colored vest and black pants and an art deco tie. She a similarly pattern top with spaghetti straps, little black hat, rag skirt. This was well skated, with one slight misstep in one f/w sequence. The Pair spin started down in the knees and moved up in a nice way to the music. They had a nice hydroblade move in it. Screen froze on me. But well skated. Should be 1st.
