falls on the straight line footwork, oh no
he really tries to interpretate the music, and follows the changes of rhythm
clearly the best so far

Austria now:

I am so revved up
all in black, see through parts at top, mostly in the sleeves, to elbow

lovely combo!!!
another jump well landed.
oops a popped jump. oh well.
sitspins followed by standing spins my typing is off, too much correction

footwork needs help--not secure enough---more spins--more footwork--still not quite secure enough footing, but some daring stuff in there, which I respect.
more sitspins---i think he is tiring from the footwork.
He is quite flexible.

i think he is not happy with himself because of the popped jump

I liked him too. Priscilla H is his choreographer, eh?

According to his ISU bio it says that Priscill is his coach
Coach: Priscilla Hill
Choreographer: Irina Romanova, Priscilla Hill, Denis Petukhov
Former Coach: Elena Romanova, Uschi Keszler
Pfeifer moved to the USA for training in 2006. He didn't compete internationally in the 2007/08 season.

Australia now--all in black

combo very so-so--landing was messed up. second jump much better

sitspins not low enough. included some grab-ankle variety, though

ok, footwork now---not very creative--lil' jump from it though, points for difficult entry, i guess

he is not my favorite kind of footwork skater--very ordinary, with meaningless arm movements to sweep toward the ice and almost touch it

not exciting for me at all, sorry. it is safe CoP skating, i suppose, but there is nothing special in it at all, except for the grab ankle spin

okay, time for Group 5!!!
they are doing ice smoothing, i guess, because they are re-showing some of the earlier skating --time for me to fuel up....

Korea, Finland, Byelarus, Brazil, Taipei warming up.

I am seeing another guy in white shirt, black pants, and black suspenders--could this be a trend? it looks spiffy :) (old slang word for looking good)
surviving on weird food. don't ask lol at least it's more than sunflower seeds.
i would not do this for any discipline other than men's; i'm not *that* crazy lol--i used to sit through live all-day practices at first, all the disciplines ---i gradually recovered my sanity lol

Korea skates first:

fall on first jump, too bad. wearing multicolor snug garment, violet and red, mostly. he jumped well after that.
Then standing catchfoot spin, and other spins. he is doing quite a variety of spins, but he is travelling in them
footwork with high kicks and twizzles, the way he moves across the ice is high energy, but needs more of something--control or organization, something
it reminds me of the first time i saw takeshi honda--he was about 15 then. this skater looks very young, too

Finland on the ice now:

black pants red top

i missed his first jump, landed his combo--nice low sitspin variety--very good control on that last one!!!!!! it was difficult in the extreme!

footwork is breezy, relaxed i think he meant to insert a jump in there, not sure--footwork is pleasant, not special (my focus is off, though, due to interruptions)
more of his exceptional, difficult of balance, spins
strong thighs for this, rare spins indeed!!!!

ok i am impressed by his spins, definitely. they are not merely fancy; some of them very few skaters could do, i think. you just don't see those every day.

Ari-Pekka Nurmenkari Finland 55.60 into 3rd place! :)
