Brian was beautiful, but he had such a melancholic expression on his face. I hope it was just for the mood of his programme.

I agree, hopefully he will do a competitive program to softer music.

It's so amazing, in its simplicity, just amazing. His speed, strength over the ice - and really quiet over the ice. So beautiful.

A boring and empty gala number from him.

I loved Brian's performance! I've always loved this song, and it really brought out a different, softer side to his skating. He seemed more smooth with this piece, and I think he was using it more than he does in competition. Maybe he should try something like this in the future?

    and at his sad face.

Mao and Miki were both great.

    Alissa's dress is lovely

V/M always love their chemistry even if there skating is not as smooth this year.

Brian's skate is sentimental in a way. Really liked it.

I don't get tired of saying how much have the Zhangs improved! what a lovely Ex program, very soft music, it really went well for them.

Ah, I'm just being honest, say as it is. Two-feet skating around the rink, doing nothing. The song is pretty & sexy, yes, a bit repetitive toward the end though.

Woo, feisty routine for Joannie. Not what I would have initially expected from her, but very nice!

It froze during Alissa's skate, but I caught part of it. Her skating is so lyrical; I love it.

Then V&M were wonderful. Perfect costume and style for the song; I loved their wrapping lifts.

Then came Brian, who moved me deeply. He extracted and expressed every bit of meaning from that song. I am so grateful that the feed did not freeze during his skate. At first I thought I would miss the white costume he had used for it at Euros, but it was just as wonderful in what he was wearing, which even seemed to intensify the words of the song.
