I would love to see Flatt skate to music from Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. There was some real nice music in that film.
I know its been done, but I Would like to see Wagner skate to music from West Side Story, including using Maria.

Done but everyone uses the same flipping cut with the fame Pirates theme. One Day and the Calypso track cut strategically can make a great FS program without featuring the famous musical line.
I wish skaters are more creative with musical cuts of popular scores, like LOTR and POTC.
It's really the actors and directors themselves who vote. They're also the ones who whine about how it's sooooo predictable. The Academy does not always choose good music for Best Score. You're talking about the same people who chose The Full Monty over Anastasia, Men In Black, My Best Friend's Wedding, and As Good As It Gets.![]()
I didn't get around to actually watching a lot of the pairs until Worlds, but I was delighted hearing Volosozhar and Morozov's LP music from the Pearl Harbor Soundtrack. I love this music, and I think there are a variety of selections from the film's score that skaters could use to create a great program. Now I know this suggestion might be cheesy, but I think the soundtrack from Titanic could potentially be good music for a skater to use. Shizuka used it back in the 2002-2003 season, but besides her I haven't heard of any other skaters using it.
The Fountain!!!!
"Death is the road to awe"
Anything by Michael Nyman or Joe Hisaishi is fine by me
There's a song "Dreams of a Journey" from the movie the Piano. It's really pretty...I was going to skate to that...but then I quit...so now I want someone else to skate to it.
...
Gahh...why did I quit??!!!![]()

I agree with whoever said Pirates has the makings of being a really cool pair program... I've had one envisioned in my head for a while now!
NEWSIES !!!!
Why won't someone skate to Newsies? My favorite movie from all time
There is this song from Treasure Planet, its called
I'm Still Here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c91EKsty5L4 on youtube, that I would LOVE Fedor to skate to...PS It is my dream to make a montage about him of it, please PM me if you are interested in assisting in my project.![]()

I bet I know which song from TP you're thinking ofit's a sweet and sad song...
and Newsies would be cool. There's a lot of good parts that could be used...
just about anything Disney works.
With Pirates and the Caribbean, I think Drobiazko/Vanagas did a smashing job in their program, even if it was an exhibition. Of course, most of it won't work at all in a competitive program, but I think they created the right feeling with it.
I would also really like someone to skate to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. There's so many different themes covering basically the whole spectrum of emotions there. Has anyone actually skated to it? I guess maybe I just haven't seen it before, but there are just so many possible music cuts to it that I can't believe elite skaters haven't used it yet.
I also think the Chronicles of Narnia (the first film) would also work really well. I think Fumie Suguri did an exhibition to it, but I couldn't find a video of it.
And I am a HUGE Joe Hisaishi fan!I think so much of his music would be good for skating programs. I know Lu Chen did a program to Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind back then, and recently Binshu Xu did an LP to Princess Mononoke and Jenni Vahamaa did an SP to Howl's Moving Castle. To be honest, I don't think any of the programs really did justice to the music. I think Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away would be ideal for more mature juniors while even younger ones can use My Neighbour Totoro. My fantasy though is Nobunari Oda skating to Princess Mononoke.
Not that there's any chance of that happening with Morozov choreographing his program.
I think that in "300" there was beautiful music, which would fit into skating very well. And the same applies to "Beowulf and Grendal"
You know guys if you would listen to Cutthroat Island you would be saying "What was that music again from Pirates of the Carribean?" LOL. Cutthroat is how pirate music SHOULD sound!
Here are some cues from Cutthroat:
