Mishima by Philip Glass. I thought of the closing bit for Caroline Zhang. It's somewhat soft music but very dramatic and fast.

I love Phillip Glass. I always think Johnny should skate to some his pieces. The Illusionist soundtrack and music from The Hours are chilling and unforgettable.

Love in the times of cholera
That is so beautiful, but might be difficult to skate to...however I can totally see Delobel & Schoenfelder interprete it...
    Titanic
For Savchenko & Szolkowy they've done an exhibition to it, and I'd love to see a FS to it...
    Meet Joe Black
Also for Aljona & Robin...that would be so wonderful...BTW has it ever been used?
    Mulan
Perfect music for a pairs team
    Cruel intentions
Is that the original name of the movie...I'm not sure
    Especially Bittersweet Symphony

I’d like to see an exhibition performed by US Ladies’ team on Powerpuff Girls theme … I know it’s unreal yet it’s still funny to think about it!

Oooh!! I love a lot of the choices here I'm a soundtrack junkie so it's always fun checking out new movie scores.

I love Brian Tyler's scoring to Children of Dune (the cues have since been reused in everything from Narnia to Master and Commander

I agree that Pan's Labyrinth has beautiful music! (But watching the movie was akin to have your heart ripped out. Maybe that's just me)

The soundtrack from Oldboy has some gorgeous music too. I always thought The Last Waltz would be really neat for a dance

Requiem for a Dream has great music too (Didn't Verner skate to bits of this?)

And while we're at it, why not consider game music too?
I've always thought this would make a kick-*** SP.

I am deathly sick of the same generic classical music. Please, no more!!!

How about the score from Penelope by Joby Tablot?

It's a bit princess-y but it's also comedic and whimsical.

I did a couple years ago and it was a great and fun program (not that I am an elite skater by any means, but still). I loved it because I could use my martial arts training for arms and footwork and transitions and it was totally "me". It would have been good Elvis Stojko music.

If you are a CTHD music fan for a program, I'd also suggest Hero and House of the Flying Daggers (especially a piece called the Echo Game which would make a top notch footwork sequence).

Absolutely... I love love love all three movies and soundtraks and its always bugged me that Joubert - who's probably the closest thing to Elvis chose to stick w/ the Matrix instead of trying this music out.

I'd also like to see a woman try one of the above three out - its so moody, sensual and powerful. The perfect alternative to The Feeling Begins.

A couple of years ago, Shae-Lynn skated a show number to a piece from House of the Flying Daggers. She used flags as props and the entire number was just amazing. Don't know if it's on YouTube though as I don't think it was ever broadcast.
