I would like to suggest
Lamento D'Ariane for her LP!

After watching the opening of FOI, I thought she could perform wonderfully to the phantom of the opera. But Yukari already announced it as her SP music so probably she won't choose same music. Too bad...
The Snowman!
Or James Last and Richard Clayderman's version of Greensleeves
Elgar Cello Concerto, 1st mvmt

Elgar and Greensleeves are fantastic choices.
If she skates to Arirang and wins the Olympics, that'll be even better.
i agree..
did you see this video?

new version of the opening number.
i love that piece and i want to see her performance of the phantom of the opera.
but yeah.. Yukari already chose that.
I would LOVE to see Yu-na use Phantom for her LP. She could bring the drama that music needs and the vulnaarablity of the charchter Christinne.
Clair de Lune![]()
I also think it suits Yuna very well. I found a montage to that music of Yuna:

I wish she would use this music couple of years later as a gala program.
I wonder if Eroica could be skatable.

I posted this before in another friend, but I think Sergei Prokofiev's 'Dance of the Knights' from his Romeo and Juliet would make a splendid SP for Yu-Na.

Yuna could try Kitri from Don Quixote if Wilson can choreagraph perfect melange of her elegance and fierceness.

This is not one of my favorite performances of Aurelie Dupont, but she's still my favorite ballerina
evangeline, I love your suggestion!
^ I agree. I don't find anything wrong with using a popular song or a song that's been used before, but I think it's weird if you're using the same song as your contemporaries.
Yes! Arirang! I fell in love with the idea after I saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBen5RmJL1g
It's soooo pretty, elegant, graceful, gentle, touching, moving and perfect for Yu-Na. I loved seeing the fierceness and intensity Yu-Na brought this season, but I also miss the willowy Yu-Na from Lark Ascending. Arirang is a good choice of music to bring back the softer Yu-Na.
I made this suggestion before but most people thought it would be too risky: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfWCEo1LYfE
It's unfamiliar and hard to relate to and I know it's a big risk to take especially during the Olympic season, but I think it would be so cool if she skated to traditional music from her homeland.
I did some more searching and found some other good music with the traditional instrument, the gayageum:

What do you guys think? Is it too risky, unfamiliar and/or weird?
