Is that Johnny in the first two photos with red & purple scarf ?

I only watched Johnny’s Poker face so far. It became my favorite.

His tango program was :chorus::chorus:

I know I already said I want Shibutanis :bow: to skate in Festa next year (Korean fans love them) and there should be at least 2 dance and pair teams maybe.
But I also want Denis Ten too!!!:clap:

^ Thanks for the photos, but you're supposed to link them.

Yuna's gala really impressed me. I always knew she had it in her and she would be the first "baby ballerina" to come up with something even remotely provocative.

The battle thing was a really good idea. Skaters usually show off tricks in finale, which mostly ends up being anticlimatic. Throw some b-boyz in the mix and voila!

Stephane has to be the hottest and in-demand pro skater out there. I checked his schedule, and it's packed with all kinds of shows abroad! I'd assume he would be on the cast next year as well along with Shizuka, Johnny, and Patrick.
I soooooooo wish Daisuke were healthy enough to skate there as well. He was so awesome last year.

I wonder how profitable holding an even as extravagant as Festa. Seems like they spent a large sum on decor, skaters, b-boys, etc. Ticket sales alons wouldn't generate much profit. Are they getting big money from the sponsors?

I reckon all the special acts were willing to participate in FOI for free or a small, small payment. FOI organizers probably asked these people to participate and they were more than willing to do so even for only a small payment or for free because in Korea it's kind of a big deal to work with Yuna. Honor and lots and lots of free publicity.
Yeon Jae the little rhythmic gymnast, is under IB management = same as Yuna.
The group who sang Gold = Big Mama. They haven't been in the music scene for a bit. FOI is the first time in a long time they made a big splash in the news.
The B-boys AKA Gamblers, may have collected a fee, but not a large sum. B-boy culture is huge in Korea. If Gamblers wanted a lot of money, FOI could have asked another B-boy group for cheaper. But I think Gamblers said yes for free or a really small payment because doing a battle like this is very different and fun for them.
The musical actors weren't very famous so no large sum for them.
All of these people profited just by appearing in FOI with tons of free publicity for them. Their names were included in practically every article written about FOI and Yuna. That kind of publicity is enough payment for them.

There were three sources of money. 1. Tickets sold out. 2. Sponsors. One big and several sub sponsors. 3. TV broadcasting.
I think the costumes were sponsored by the designer who made a publicity with it, but singers and b-boys were payed.

Combined, I believe there was a big profit. Sponsors were happy and the TV station made a big money too, by selling all planed commercials.

MBC must have felt proud of themselves for winning the TV broadcast rights.
But now they regret it because of the amateur job they produced.
Korean viewers are seething over the terrible camera work from MBC.
They won the bidding war but now they have to deal with angry viewers.
