In the newest episode of the The Mike and Myles Show, Olympic cyclist Michael Blatchford and Paralympic judo player Myles Porter take to the ice with Rockne Brubaker and John Coughlin to learn some figure skating movies. Can cycling and judo translate to the ice?

The show is apart of the U.S. Olympic Committee's http://www.teamusa.org Web site. A new episode, which brings Mike and Myles out of their comfort zone to learn something new with Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center based athletes, is posted every Tuesday.

Great clip! Thanks for sharing. Frankly, I thought Mike and Myles did pretty darn good out there. As someone who is seriously considering some adult skating lessons to get me back on the ice I was interested in the "how to get back up when you fall" part! I'm sure I'll need that skill a plenty before I'm done. :agree:

It does show what the beginner goes through just to learn how to plain skate. not easy. Incredible that skaters who have gone through this would stick with it.
