Prediction Thread for Trophée Eric 2009

is it a real prediction thread based on the last 4 years or is just Listing your favorite skaters? We had a HOPE thread last year which made more sense.

This is why I do so badly at fantasy figure skating!

3. Caroline Zhang/Carolina Kostner - if Kostner is on I think she will take the edge, but if she's off I think Zhang will overthrow her and sneak on the podium. Especially if Zhang has fixed her downgrades on her jumps

I can't see Sasha on the podium. At best I can see her 4th, but until we get some practice reports on her, it will be hard to determine what shape she is in.

Kind of early to be predicting stuff but that probably looks to be the most likely outcome based on last season. Notice I said BASED ON LAST SEASON so obviously there's room for things to change, withdrawals, etc.

I can't see Sasha on the podium.

Wrong Didier. Gwendoline Didier is competing at TEB. Last year, Gwendoline was the one who kept Emily Hughes from finishing last at TEB.

Candice Didier was the one who crashed at Worlds but came back to finish her program. Candice is scheduled to compete at Rostelecom (she might also get the TBA spot at TEB).

but TBA knows how to swiftly pull back the landing to where is should be, and TBA's Flutz is always overlooked because of who she is.

With most of the ladies, you can make some sort of a guess on how they will do based on last season. Sasha will be a total mystery here. I have no idea how she will do. Everyone is assuming Mao and Yu-Na will be on top, and they probably will be. But Sasha could surprise us. And I noticed the international judges are starting to feel warm and fuzzy about Caroline. So I just don't know.
