Is there someone who will attend this competition ?

If yes, I would love to see the performance of :

    Kathryn Kang
    Mira Leung
    Cambria Little

in the short program on video in youtube or in http://www.fsvids.net/forum/.

If it is not possible, it is no worse than that.

I can watch the new SP program later in the season.

I just watched some of the unknown Canadians on youtube, what is interesting that even if their jumps are really not good - the skating skills are always great. E.g. Cambria Little, her jumps look very iffy, but she has great secure edges and good speed. (But then how exactly did Canada get Kevin Reynolds? Perhaps he was smuggled to Canada from the US. )

What fascinates me about Nam Nguyen is that he was already expressing a feeling for the music, very nice.

EDIT: Who is Beata Papp? She jumps like a female Brezina, incredible height on the Triples! Ah, she is from Finland. The moment I saw the atrocious spiral sequence I knew that she must be from Europe.

Beata Papp is the younger sister of Bela Papp, age 15 (he competes as a junior internationally for Finland -- link to his ISU bio: http://www.isufs.org/bios/isufs00009575.htm). The family moved to Vancouver in the summer of 2007 and the Papps train in Burnaby.

Beata placed 7th of 18 in the Novice Women's event at Canada's Junior Nationals in Feb. 2009. She landed 2A in her SP and was credited with landing 3S and 3T cleanly in her FS. 2009 Junior Nationals Results/protocols: http://www.skatecanada.ca/en/events_...ults/index.htm

I was browsing the starting orders and who did I notice registered in SR Women but...

    ELENE GEDEVANISHVILI!!!

Whether she shows up or not is the question, but since she seems to be a late addition, I think it is more likely that she will come!!! YAY!!
