There looked like there will be some strong competition in Novice/Pre-Novice too. I didn't look too closely, so don't be offended if I missed your favourite skater!
I can't believe Nam is already skating Junior! That's crazy.
I know! He'll be there for awhile...considering he's only 10 or 11!
Is there someone who will attend this competition ?
If yes, I would love to see the performance of :
in the short program on video in youtube or in http://www.fsvids.net/forum/.
If it is not possible, it is no worse than that.
I can watch the new SP program later in the season.
L'art pour l'art
I just watched some of the unknown Canadians on youtube, what is interesting that even if their jumps are really not good - the skating skills are always great. E.g. Cambria Little, her jumps look very iffy, but she has great secure edges and good speed. (But then how exactly did Canada get Kevin Reynolds? Perhaps he was smuggled to Canada from the US. )
What fascinates me about Nam Nguyen is that he was already expressing a feeling for the music, very nice.
EDIT: Who is Beata Papp? She jumps like a female Brezina, incredible height on the Triples! Ah, she is from Finland. The moment I saw the atrocious spiral sequence I knew that she must be from Europe.

Beata Papp is the younger sister of Bela Papp, age 15 (he competes as a junior internationally for Finland -- link to his ISU bio: http://www.isufs.org/bios/isufs00009575.htm). The family moved to Vancouver in the summer of 2007 and the Papps train in Burnaby.

Reason: to add Nationals placements
I was browsing the starting orders and who did I notice registered in SR Women but...
Whether she shows up or not is the question, but since she seems to be a late addition, I think it is more likely that she will come!!! YAY!!
Also, if somebody are able to record the 2 program of Elene Gedevanishvili it would be appreciate.
