    his choreography was used by many new to the scene who got more credit for it. Good man!

    I remember seeing Merce Cunningham in the early 80's at UCLA when I was a college student. I brought my boyfriend (who became my husband) with me and all I remember is Merce doing a hundred plies and my boyfriend snoring loudly during the performance. Unfortunately for him he had to stay for the entire performance since I was writing a paper for a dance class.
