    News Mining For Gold

Vermont's Ross Miner is in the hunt for gold - medals that is. The talented 18-year-old won the gold medal in the men's junior division at the 2009 U.S. National Figure Skating Championships on his first try. He previously won the gold in the intermediate division in 2006 and the silver in novice in 2008.

Another enjoyable article from GoldenSkate, thanks!

Ross sounds like a nice kid, talented to boot, and highly motivated. Good for him for coming in second to Patrick Chan at this summer's Liberty Open, what a big boost of confidence, especially posting the highest technical score. Not bad, not bad at all. I'm going to seach on youtube for his performance.

And he's a natural born showman to boot, aha, maybe we have another Scott Hamilton on our hands.
