Hurrah - SFU Pipe Band repeats as world champions

Well Canada may not always bring home an arm load of Olympic medals, but when it comes to playing the bag pipes we are No. one!!! For the Second year in a row Simon Fraser University's (a British Columbia University) pipe band has claimed the best pipe band in the world. The event is held in Glasgow Scotland. It must have something to do with our Scottish roots!!

I think Simon Fraser has won this a total of six times, as well as numerous awards for individul pipers and drummers. Here they are at the 2004 competition.
