A shame. He narrowly beat Takahiko Kozuka in FS at Japanese regionals just about 2 weeks ago. :( I hope he recovers soon.

How come no pairs?
I saw him at Nebelhorn last year (video of course). It was a special pearl in FsVids. If you wish, you can still find his SP in there.
Probably because Finland never had a pair team?

So all the 3 Finnish Ladies GPS qualifiers are competing as a warm-up competition! All of them could hit the podium. FYI the three ladies are called "fairies" among Japanese skating fans and they're very popularYeah, what a battle for them this season. Three shall become two. Maybe FT will give a hint???
I am also curious about Fumie, Valentina, Alena, Kristoffer, the Kerrs and of course Takahashi. Well actually I would have loved to see all the participants. Great opportunity for people living in the area to watch world class figure skating. Hopefully there will be a big cheering audience. Have fun!
