I actually really liked Voronov's program. I think it has a real meaning and he feels it and lives in this program. Shame he hasn't got lutz and flip to be super competitive in Olympics but otherwise, well done!
Voronov has some problems with flip and lutz because of an old injury, but now he is trying to fix those jumps
I was wondering who choreographed his programs this season? The difference is quite vivid comparing to last season. I would say, his programs look much better choreographically than Plucshenko's right now.![]()
I know that Tarasova worked with him on his SP (she worked with Alena Leonova on her SP too), but don't know about the FS, I've heard there's a new choreographer in Urmanov's group, but I'm not sure.
Plushenko is not in a good shape yet, so it's too early to talk about his programs
I like Voronov's LP, choreo wise, it looks much better than the old one, although his interpretation to the music is still not that good.
I also like Takahashi's LP, but I have to say that it's not as strong as his SP. I love that music, the footwork is amazing as usual, but too many little mistakes here and there made that program looked a little broken. His spins are also slower than COI. But this is a great start for him. Can't wait to see him in GP (and hopefully GPF)!
Another video of Takahashi's LP with a different camera person and different camera angles-

Takahashi has Olympic Gold programs, the beginning of his Lp is amazing!
Your sure? The note on the right side says it's the same video made by the same videomaker
Me, too. It's definitely better. There were some fresh and interesting moves in his circular step sequence.
Daisuke's LP as it was skated at FT, was, IMO, far from perfection. He might improve a bit in time for GP though.
