Fumie's SP is not bad. It's probably one of her best choregraphed programs in recent years. At least the music is not some generic, forgettable stuff.

I loved Platonova/Grachev OD, great music and a wonderful dance. What are the chances against other russians, especially in perspective with third russian olympic spot ?
Yes, and there is also Ekaterina Riazanova & Ilia Tkachenko. Not to mention the exciting junior team of Elena ILYINIKH / Nikita KATSALAPOV
But if D/S or K/N or even all of them will not go to Worlds after the OG maybe we would see P/G there![]()
Well Bobrova/Soloviev are former junior world champions too and Gorshkova/Butikov also medaled at Jr. Worlds.
It's gonna be an exciting battle for that 3rd russian spot for sure. I just wish PlatonovaGrachev would have a GP spot like all their other rivals. Whatever team that does better at the Grand Prix will likely get the federation judges support.
I agree too about huge chances for the 4th team going to worlds (at least Domnina/Shabalin will surely retire if they medal at Vancouver). Grachev did go to 2006 worlds with his former partner after Navka/Kostomarov retired but they finished pretty low at 23rd..
I would think that depending on Maxim's health, they might retire after Olympics in any case. After all, they are already World Champions. What would going to Worlds offer them?
BTW, icenetwork posted an article about the Ladies LP and the Dance FD

Yes, Bobrova/Soloviev are former world junior champions. But they don't grab ur attention enough to watch the program again. i believe they became world champion rather soon and as a result moved up to next level rather quickly (i believe they became world jr champs when they were 17 and 18 yrs old). They are not fullly senior material.
i absolutely can't stand their OD, its more like 2 blokes skating together and has nothing to do with prescribed theme of OD
