In case anybody is wondering, here is the list of how many spots each country gets for each division

At the 2009 ISU World Figure Skating Championships, a majority of the quota spots for the Vancouver Games were determined in Los Angeles by how individuals and teams finished for their country.

For pairs, singles and ice dancing, a country could earn multiple quota bids for the 2010 Winter Olympics if its skaters finished high enough. Twenty-four quota spots were handed out in men's and ladies competition, 16 were handed out in pairs teams and 19 were given to ice dancing couples based on world championships finishes under the following rules:

Interesting. Only Japan gets 3 ladies. Only the United States and Japan get 3 men. Only Russia and China get 3 pairs. ( The Chinese get nothing else. ) And only the U.S. and Russia get 3 dance teams.
