Nobu comeback fluff :)

They mistook his SP music as Dance Macabre in the fluff :)

In fact it's "Death's Dance", a mix of Dido's Lament and Totentanz

Nobu describes his program as very difficult, especially steps!

OMG costume! I love it, black with asymmetric motif

Huge 3A a bit step out
faast!
3Lz-3T huuge :)
music change 3F great!

spins great! but please put combo at the end instead of sit spins

jumps on replays huuge! :O

Nobu not happy with performance, says it needs polishing :) But I loved it :)

I'm disappointed. I was looking forward to her ribbon EX:disapp: Hope BS Tokyo will broadcast the whole program later.

Interviews with Mao & Miki. Miki a bit disappointed with her performance, says she was tired after the trip from USA. Sadly, I missed Mao. :(

What, that was it? Well, that was one short broadcast :( I hope BS will show more skaters. (And Nobu's encore.)

I loved Miki's. Really good. Did she improve her posture?

Mao's was great, too, as I saw it before.

I feel that Miki somehow looks skinnier than before.

I actually like Mao's new LP. It's the first time that I have seen her looking hints of ... majestic. Especially parts near the beginning, where many posters seem to dislike the most. :p She seems so committed to the choreography this time, much more than I have ever seen her do. When Mao was younger, she skated in a really carefree, light-hearted fashion, but as she grew into a young lady, she probably outgrew that style; personally, I prefer her more mature style. In the last couple of years, she skated like she was concentrating really hard on the technical aspects. Now, she's still skating like she's really concentrating hard, but on the performance rather than the technical elements. Maybe that's why the jumps didn't come out so well this time, because she was really trying to do a good job of presenting the program out there for the first time. I think the program has real potential. If skated well, I can see it bringing the house down in Vancouver! Good luck, Mao.

Having watched Jeff's performance, I am almost 80% certain he's going to pull a Shen/Zhao, Plushy, Lambiel, Sasha.

I mean, what's the point for him to do a COP friendly LP if he has no intention to compete. This program is 95% competition ready, he just needs to add two 3As in next 3 months, and go directly to the Nationals. Why not?

There is not much show for him to do in between anyway. Who else can beat him except Chan ? He may not even need 3A at Canadian Nationals to qualify.

The link provided for Jeff's program didn't work for me at all, it was a frozen image. Anybody has a better link somewhere, because I can not find one?

Thanks for the links. I think Yukari's costume is fine, but the long sleeves are very distracting. The music cuts also sounded kind of weird to my ears, especially the opening part. I really hope Team Yukari can modify that. At this very moment, I think I like her LP better than her SP :)

Mao's ex was so much fun to watch! I loved it

I've found Dai's new SP. Great program. Such beautiful jumps  I especially enjoyed the jump and clap he made at 2:27, just right on the note. Just perfect.
Looks like he is in terrific form. So happy he's back

Daisuke Takahashi's SP:clap::clap:

I can't find other clips, yet.

As for Miki's SP, I do not like the program and costume, too eccentric (I don't know this word is proper to express my feeling). Requiem is better for me.

It seems we post almost at the same moment :)

I liked Miki's SP a lot. I think it suits her style very well. Unlike in many of her competitive programs, she looked shining and alive in that new SP program. She looked like a femme fatale to me, a beautiful seductress. But I really hated the spider on her costume! The spider needs to go, like NOW.
