Great showing fro Polina and Yuki, this will ensure Yuki another JGP or will it? . Hope kseniya can put the free skate behind her at GPF.
And two russians in the JGP finals when was the last time that happened?, During sokolova era.
And they have two other talented girls that will be on the JGP next season...:And two russians in the JGP finals when was the last time that happened?, During sokolova era.
They probably have the most depth in Juniors right now. In fact I would bet that if you count in Elizaveta and Adeline they do have the most depth in juniors. (Not to mention the most Junior GP medals too.)
It's amazing the difference a few years can make. Polina has to be the most talented jumper to come around since Kim/Asada.
Don't want to jinx anyone but I wouldn't be surprised if Sotnikova, Tuktamysheva, and Shelepen sweep the Junior Worlds 2011 podium. Athough who knows with puberty and all of that a lot can happen in a year though.
Long ago... But what will we see next season when Sotnikova and Tuktamysheva could compete?..
Yes, and Liza was very consistent with the 3T+3T last season. She added the 3F this year, too. With her lutz being so good, I wonder if she can try for a 3Lz+3T.
Someone has uploaded few of the ODs

I was able to see MONKO/Khaliavlin's OD and few other on the channel.

Cheers to Wenjing/ SUI ! They won by a whopping 20 points margin. Wow! The tec score is higher than all pairs competing at Nebelhorn with only 2 lifts allowed for Jr. pairs. Their jumps are just 2a+2a+seq, and 2f.
Great international debut. Hope they can keep the consistency and get their triple jumps soon.
Can't wait for the video.

Yeah the margin is incredible! They seem to have great chemistry and better interpretation of the music than just about all of the senior Chinese pairs (except S/Z). I think they need to tone down some of the arm movements though, it gets a bit distracting. Wenjing and Cong are still so young but already draw you into their performance...alot more so, and with more polish/lyricism, than the Zhangs as juniors imo. And she is so darn cute!
