Chao Yang - CHN
waltzy music
3lz-3t good, fluid
3f good
2a slight stumble
quite a contrast to Bradlety here, full fluid committed movement all the way through the program, very even.
60.72 - 3rd .. crowd not agreeing, nor do I ! (though he was better)
Vaughn Chipeur - CAN
rock music, more upbeat than last year's
better costume!
fell on his awesome 3a
popped flip! no combo
3lz pretty good, not best
rest of movement similar to last year's sp, but he's more comfortable now
not a conventional music choice, but this really suits him and has good energy, this wil be great i think if he delivers it.
51.45 - 5th
seems relaxed in K&C
OUCH Chipeur
Vaughn CHIPEUR CAN 51.45 24.60 27.85 5.90 5.50 5.40 5.60 5.45 1.00 #5
Nubonari Oda - JPN
uber bombastic piano and orchestra techno music.
3a great landing!
3f-3t good
3lz fine
(did i mix up his lz and f ? )
I don't care for this music one bit, geez this guy could interpret much classier types of music... but I guess he did a decent job with it, his great flow was really effective for most of it.
79.20 - 1st easily so far
Loved Oda's program! great speed! For those in Canada, SkateBuzz is streaming the competition today live....it is really great!![]()
Well Oda has set the tone very high for the next six skaters.
SO robbed on PCS/GoEs. Hopefully with a few consistent performances his scores will go up.
Is there any live stream of TEB outside USA and Canada?
I'm bowing out for now on the PbP.. gotta eat breakfast!!
I love the banners
Arg, Zorba does not mean 'dressed for the navy"!!!
Yes, I think skating in the 1st group also had a lot to do with his lower PCS marks. If his seeding were higher, he'd likely have higher PCS scores too. Had he been able to skate the 2007-2008 season and been allowed to compete more in last season's Grand Prix, his seeding would have been high enough for him to be in the final group.
Voronov's on today. Jump-wise.
Well, obviously not. URs?
