No matter what people say about D/D being boring, their skating to peaceful music always warms my heart and makes me feel good.
I cannot resist to say, that to me it seems that he still has feelings for Jessica. But of course, I might be wrong.

I love that program from D/D. That is the most expressive I have ever seen either of them! In the spiral sequence when she is looking away from him and you can see the look he gives her. Wow...break my heart! Two footed landing on the lutz and hand down on thrown loop. Good start for them!

M/T....solid technicians but no connection to the music at all - except for the last five seconds when he carries her.

Wow, Mukhortova/Trankov were actually...pretty good with Love Story. To be honest, I was expecting a disaster, but they seem to have overcome their LP woes with this performance.

Please tell me that M/T are NOT skating to Love Story, and in an Olympic year at that.... aye aye aye...

that said, can't really comment on the program/performance, as my feed is not consistent enough... does look to have some nice moments, but I'm extremely skeptical of them being able to pull THAT music off without being overly precious....
