Wow! Akiko! That was stunning! How many triples did she land? Sure were many! Lovely spirit on the ice! Such joy and lightness! Very enjoyable!

and here comes the footwork, fab
energetic final spin, not spectacular positions but very good
that was very very good! a really appealing casual confident style all the way through. she pretty much nailed the program. it would have been nice to see more footwork flair interwoven with elements... outside of the big fw sequence, it was kinda sparse... but very enjoyable skating, better than her SP. she looked very relaxed.
117.14 -- bravo!
And she easily goes into 1st place!![]()
Not even 100 for Rachael... I'm guessing downgrades, as well as -GOE's on all the step-outs and shaky landings.
Totally in love with Akiko's programInto the first place! Yes!

3Lz-1t, 2A-2A, 3Lz, 3l, 3s,
Strange costume. Gives an impression that she forgot to take off this white cardi. It's hugely distracting.
Good step sequence. Like her smile. Program suits her but dress has to go. Or just take off the cardi. It was nice to dee her to pick little leaves of the flowers somebody throw on the ice. When will people learn!

176.66. Into 1st place. She is very happy! Well deserved!
Wow, great job, Akiko! The audience goes wild, totally clean program! And she's so sweet too. Not only beats Fumie by a large margin, but Joannie, too. At this rate, she will kick Mao off the Japanese Olympics team (and will deserve it, too).
Akiko was marvelousLoved it!

So is Suzuki officially in the running for one of the Team Japan Oly spots?
Akiko's PCS could be higher IMO
